Stipend upon final reflection

Come explore the kits and lessons developed by the South Dakota Discovery Center with support from the USDA NRCS and the SD Department of Agriculture. “Dig” into hands-on soil exploration, “dive” into water learning, integrate English Language Arts and receive a stipend! These fun, engaging, educational resources will help your students learn about South Dakota’s soil and water through inquiry based, cross curricular learning.

This course will be a 15 hour in-person course. Credit will be offered. A stipend will be available for those completing a final reflection. There will be an offsite field trip one morning. We will have a working lunch both days to make the most of our time together.

Made possible by grant funding from the USDA Natural Resource Conservation Service with support from the SD Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources 319 Information and Education Project and the South Dakota Space Grant Consortium.
