Description
Come explore the kits and lessons developed by the South Dakota Discovery Center with support from the USDA NRCS and the SD Department of Agriculture. “Dig” into hands-on soil exploration, “dive” into water learning, integrate English Language Arts and receive a stipend! These fun, engaging, educational resources will help your students learn about South Dakota’s soil and water through inquiry based, cross curricular learning.
This course will be a 15 hour in-person course. Credit will be available for those completing a final reflection. There will be an offsite field trip one morning. We will have a working lunch both days to make the most of our time together.
