Event Description
For June, our theme is waterfowl! Join local birder Ricky Olson and others with an interest in waterfowl for a driving tour of local waterfowl hot spots. We will start at the gatehouse at Oahe Downstream (map), head to Birding Point, stop by the tail race below the dam and then head into town to check out what's happening at Discovery Island and Legion Beach.

You must have a state park entrance pass to visit Birding Point. 

Beginning and experienced birders welcome. We welcome participants of all ages but we are unable to transport or supervise participants under the age of 18.

Bring your camera for photos for iNaturalist and binoculars.
