Event Description
Calling all birders, newbie or experienced. The SD Discovery Center is hosting a birding meetup for anyone interested in birding the Fort Pierre National Grasslands as part of the City Nature Challenge. We will convene at the SD Discovery Center at 8:30 am for a short meet and greet over donuts, then we will convoy out to the Grasslands in search of spring migrants. Bring your binoculars AND cameras so you can upload photos to iNaturalist if you are so inclined.

We encourage birders of all ages to participate but unfortunately we cannot provide supervision or transportation for minor children under the age of 16.

No registration necessary. Just show up!
