Become a Soil Hero! Discover the often-overlooked importance of soil in our daily lives, and learn how you can help restore healthy soil levels in your community!
Project Hero, an online program from the Captain Planet Foundation, encourages youth to become champions for endangered species and ecosystems. The Soil Quest invites young people to embark on an educational journey to explore the vital life beneath our feet and understand how healthy soils are essential for maintaining the carbon cycle. The experience culminates in the creation and execution of a hands-on project aimed at improving soil health in local environments.
Join us on Thursday, December 5th from 1 PM to 5 PM for World Soil Day to experience our Soil Is Life exhibit and learn more about the critical role soil plays in our world!
